A Skatepark in NewcastleOn my holidays in England, I did visit a Skatepark in Newcastle. The youngsters there were fine with me running around, taking pictures and generally being in the way. As far as I gathered, the city built the park for them, but they have to keep it clean and drugfree all by themselves - and that seemed to work out fine. Quite an example of what can happen if those in charge actually give responsibility to the young and motivated. I really hope to see that in Germany too soon.
